Richardson Wright is excited to announce that Simon Whang has joined the Firm as Of Counsel. Simon adds extensive and extraordinary trial experience to Richardson Wright's team, first cutting his teeth as a prosecutor at the storied Manhattan DA’s Office. From there, Simon joined the Oregon Department of Justice, where he honed his skills and advocated justice for victims of financial abuse. As a deputy city attorney, Simon advised elected officials and bureaus, and litigated on behalf of the City of Portland and its citizens.
Simon also teaches trial advocacy, through CLEs, as faculty in OSB’s Trial Advocacy College since 2010, and as a Lewis and Clark Law School mock trial/moot court adjunct professor since 2013.
Simon graduated from New York University School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Sociology from the John Hopkins University.
